Troubleshooting the Signup Activation Email

To start using GatherKit, you need to activate your account from your secure email. If you are not getting that email, there are a few things to do to troubleshoot this.

I didn’t receive my activation email

Here are a few reasons that can delay the activation email:

  • The email is still on its way. The time it takes to receive the activation email can vary depending on internet traffic or how busy your ISP is. Wait a few hours and check again.
  • The email is in your spam folder. Check your junk or spam folder to see if the activation email arrived there.
  • A firewall blocked the email. Sometimes corporate email servers have firewalls that block certain emails. If you’re on a corporate email server, check with your IT department to make sure that emails from addresses aren’t blocked.
  • There was a typo in the signup email address. Yep, we’ve done that, too. Confirm that you used the correct address to sign up. If not, repeat the steps to set up an account.
